1. Introduction : P.G.D.A.V co-educational College started imparting education from 17th of August 1957. The college then was established by the D.A.V College Managing Committee at D.A.V school on Chitragupta Road in Pharganj. In 1971 college shifted to Lajpat Nagar near Ashram on the main Ring road.

4. Facilities : In the wide range of facilities provided in the college are Library, Sports (In sports the good number of facilities are provided in the sports like Athletics, Hockey, Cricket, Badminton, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Table-Tennis, Foot Ball, Judo, Kabaddi, Swimming). Other facilities include Computer Labs, Scholarships, Societies, Conference Hall.
